Indoor Air Quality Sensors
Today’s tightly sealed buildings are designed to maximize energy efficiency. They lower heating and cooling costs by letting in only the minimum amount of unconditioned outside air. However, air quality for the inhabitants of such buildings must be monitored and maintained. Sensors monitoring indoor air are often referred to as IAQ sensors. The IAQ sensor may be located in the occupied space or in the ductwork. It may be a simple CO2 detector or a sophisticated sensor that transmits CO2 levels, temperature and humidity information to the central building automation system. Relevant Solutions offers one of the largest selections of these devices on the market. Multiple types of sensors and transmitters by many manufacturers are available.
