Current Undergraduate Program: Supply Chain Management/Marketing at Texas Tech University
Question 1: What new skills or knowledge did you acquire during your summer internship with us?
During my time at Relevant, I developed skills such as time management, communication, and collaboration. I improved my skills in Excel and learned how to use an ERP system. Overall, I learned how a distributer operates and the strategic decisions that go along with it.
Question 2: How did your summer internship contribute to your personal and professional growth?
I came out of the internship with a better understanding of where I am in my professional journey. I was able to use what I've learned while in school and apply it to the projects I was given. I am better equipped for the world of supply chain due to the tasks/projects I completed at Relevant.
Question 3: What was your favorite project and why?
That is a tough question, I was given many great projects! I would have to say though, my favorite project was working with Relevant's ERP system. We used the Substitutes and Accessories feature to improve inventory management while helping forecasting methods. After completion, we developed a process guide to help Inside Sales!
Question 4: How Would You Summarize the Unique Experience of Being Part of Our Internship Program?
Being a part of the internship program at Relevant was one of the best experiences I have to date. I was given projects that challenged me and taught me beyond a textbook. What made the experience even more enjoyable was working in the incredible environment that Relevant provides. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful, intelligent, and made things fun. I am very grateful for the summer internship I had!
