Matthew Graham Internship

Question 1: What new skills or knowledge did you acquire during your summer internship with us?
Throughout my internship I learned many different parts of Relevant. I gained knowledge of the numerous product lines Relevant has to offer as well as how each department works together. I learned the sales process, the duties of inside sales and outside sales, and how to create an efficient experience for each customer. Throughout my internship, I worked on a training guide for inside sales representatives. While working on the training guide I learned how to research effectively and how to use the resources within the company to find the necessary information. Lastly, I also gained knowledge on how to enter quotes and orders on P21.

Question 2: How did your summer internship contribute to your personal and professional growth?
This internship gave me a hands-on experience in a professional setting. Effective communication, multitasking, teamwork, and collaborating with others are all skills that I will continue to utilize throughout my career. Also, I got an introduction to the different industries that I may interact with in my future endeavors.

Question 3: What was your favorite project and why?
My favorite project was the product training videos that I recorded with the product line heads. I enjoyed learning about the products, their function, and how they can be used together to create solutions for customers.

Question 4: How Would You Summarize the Unique Experience of Being Part of Our Internship Program?
My experience at Relevant was welcoming. Something I find unique about Relevant is the company culture. As an intern, I felt truly valued and that my time added value to the company. Relevant has shown that they truly want to invest in every employee’s future in the company.
