Honeywell XNX™ Universal Transmitter

The XNX Universal Transmitter is a versatile and reliable gas detection platform designed to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of fixed gas detection systems. Built to support Honeywell Analytics’ Searchline Excel, Optima, and other industry-standard gas detectors, XNX operates efficiently on a digital bus system. This transmitter is compatible with various gas sensing technologies, including electrochemical, infrared, and catalytic bead sensors. With support for standard 4-20mA outputs and HART communication, and optional Modbus and Fieldbus protocols, the XNX system offers flexible connectivity to PLCs and third-party controllers. It can be configured with up to three relays and supports local HART adapters for diagnostics and setup using handheld devices.

Engineered for performance in hazardous and industrial environments, the XNX transmitter is certified for Class I and Class II, explosion-proof and intrinsically safe applications. It is ideal for use in upstream and downstream oil and gas operations, chemical plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and more. The durable enclosure comes in either stainless steel or aluminum with a marine-grade coating, and offers five threaded port options (metric or NPT) to accommodate diverse installation needs.
